Never in my life would I ever imagine how difficult putting on makeup could be. With kiddos running wild and crazy, needing to get dressed and their lunch packed, my beauty routine is put on the backburner. However, just because we’re dedicated mommas doesn’t mean we can’t have our own time, too. Taking time out for yourself not only saves your sanity but builds your confidence, too! A little bit of TLC in the morning will make for a more calm and collected momma during the day. We’ve prepared a 3 step beauty routine that will change your whole life. This 3 step beauty routine will give you a full face of makeup within 5-10 minutes.
Mix Your Moisturizer and Your Foundation
You’ll be amazed at how much time this saves, and improves your foundation coverage! Moisturizer is vital in order to keep your youthful appearance and protect your skin during the day. Try a heavy moisturizer for dry skin, or a foundation with some SPF if you’re planning on being outdoors. If you don’t currently use foundation, you don’t know what you’re missing. For a rushed beauty routine, foundation allows a super polished look.
Add Powder, Bronzer, and Blush
After your face combo has dried, don’t forget to set it with some powder. Adding in some power will strengthen the longevity of your makeup (as long as you’re not sweating). Sweep a little bronzer on your cheeks between your eyebrows, the bridge of your nose, and your chin. So far this should only have taken about 2-3 minutes. We aren’t getting fancy! Sweep some blush on and your face is done. Try smiling and make a quick swipe across your cheeks where it accentuates your smile.
This usually takes about a minute or so, depending on your eyelashes. If you have naturally black eyelashes that are pretty long you can skip this step if you are really crunched for time! However, if you have an extra minute, literally 60 seconds, mascara will make the whole face come together! Swipe a few coats on your top lashes, and just a few on the bottom. If you’re seasoned in filling in your eyebrows, it can really bring your whole look together. If not, no worries!
This routine should take no longer than 5-7 minutes. We aren’t doing eyeshadow or lining our lips, we are keeping it super simple, but still beautiful as ever. Whether you know it or not, a little 3 step beauty routine can make the rest of your day more manageable and more enjoyable.
