5 Ways to Spring Into Healthy

With a new season, comes a new you. This season, spring into a healthier, happier you. These five tips are just the way to get there.

“An active family is a happy family.”

1. Drink more water

As it gets hotter and you get more active, it’s important to stay hydrated throughout the day. The benefits of water include increasing energy, decreasing fatigue, promote weight loss, and flushes out toxins. Water is the main ingredient to becoming a healthier you this spring.

2. Protect your skin

With the sun getting brighter, it’s important to protect you and your children’s skin. Remember to always put sunscreen on!

3. Add fresh fruits and vegetables 

A new season brings new, fresh fruits and vegetables. Don’t forget to add these to your plate. Fruits and vegetables have been known to decrease risk of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

4. Sweat it out

Another great way to release toxins this spring is to sweat. Add an exercise routine to your day or visit a sauna. Nothing says detox like sweating!

5. Dissolve stress

The best way to spring into a new you is to dissolve stress. Try meditating or hot yoga to relieve the daily stress of life.
