Spring is beautiful, full of blooms and bright colors, but it’s also a VERY confusing season for your closet. The weather goes from high 70’s to low 50’s within a few hours, so should you leave the house in boots or sandals? While we can’t guarantee you can have a 100% spring approved closet, we’ve got some tips for transitioning your wardrobe for spring!
Maxi Skirts + Sweaters
Maxi skirts are one of my FAVORITE staple pieces for the spring! They’re light, flowy, and are SO comfortable to wear to dinners, work, or a weekend full of shopping. Pair one with a light or chunky sweater so you can have a little bit of warmth too!
Cardis + Long Jackets
If you want to wear shorts or a skirt and a tank, make sure you pair a cardigan or long blazer with it. Not only will it complete your outfit, but it will provide you with an extra layer of warmth later if you need it!
Open Toed Boots
Spring is the PERFECT time for ankle boots! It’ll get you a fabulous spring outfit without sacrificing comfort or warmth running errands or getting drinks with your girlfriends.
OTK Boots
Whether you’re wearing a skirt, dress, or jeans, OTK boots are always a favorite in my closet. They really are a great transition piece because you can wear something for warmer weather but still have a little bit of coverage for your legs!
Light Denim
If you’re like me and absolutely love denim (and denim on denim), trade your dark washes for a few lighter colored denim! It will start to brighten your wardrobe and give your fall fashion choices a lighter and brighter look!
Transitioning your wardrobe for Spring may seem impossible, but with a few spring staples by your side, you’ll be good to go! What’s your favorite part about your spring wardrobe? Let us know in the comments below!
